We currently have over 500 students from across our Tyabb and Carrum Downs campuses representing Flinders in Domestic Basketball in the following associations: Casey, Chelsea, Frankston, Mornington, Westernport & Southern Peninsula. Being part of a team sport enables our students to not only gain on court skills but also healthy, friendly relationships with peers, coaches, officials, staff and families.
Basketball is a popular sport within Flinders that has been running for over ten years. Membership of Flinders Basketball is open to all students enrolled at our Carrum Downs and Tyabb Campuses. Flinders Basketball will also consider students from outside the Flinders community by special arrangement, please contact Basketball Administration (details below).
Basketball Information packs are provided to players and families. These contain key information about the Flinders Basketball club, player expectations, association rules and more. For assistance with information packs, please contact Basketball Administration (details below).
All players, team managers and coaches must register online via PlayHQ to participate in domestic basketball competitions. Each player, team manager and coach must register online with their own active email address. PlayHQ registration must also be completed before being allocated to a Flinders Basketball Team.
