Every child should have access to the world of learning opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors, excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works and sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are part of a healthy curriculum.
The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund Allowance (CSEF) is administered by the Department of Education and Training and is available to Parents/Legal Guardians who hold a Health Care Card or Pension Card. For concession card holders, CSEF eligibility will be subject to the parent/legal guardian’s concession card being successfully validated with Centrelink on either 19 January 2024 or 15 April 2024.
The CSEF allowance helps eligible families to cover the costs of curriculum based school trips, camps and sporting activities that may occur over the year at the College. Please note the funds are not able to be used for any “extra-curricular” activities that may be offered at the College.
The application caters for students between 5 and 18 years of age inclusive and the form needs to be completed annually. Please note the funds are paid directly to the College and will be credited to your family account.
Application forms with a copy of your Health care card or pension card must be submitted to the College no later than 26 June 2024 to ensure that the College can lodge your application by the due date on your behalf. Understanding that this directly provides financial assistance to families, we encourage all families to register if you are eligible.
